SAFE: A Microwave Imaging Device for Breast Cancer Early Screening

We are thrilled to share the publication of our study titled "SAFE: A Microwave Imaging Device for Breast Cancer Early Screening." This study represents a significant advancement in our mission to develop innovative technologies for non-invasive and non-ionizing breast cancer screening.

About the Publication:

SAFE (Scan and Find Early) is a microwave breast cancer imaging (MBI) device with the protentional for non-invasive and non-ionizing breast cancer early screening. The MBI technology utilizes the difference in dielectric properties of cancerous and healthy tissue to make further clinical predictions. In this study, we assess the ability of the SAFE to accurately detect and classify the existing lesion inside patient’s breast.

Key Highlights:

  • SAFE is a non-invasive and non-ionizing MBI device, making it safe for repeated screenings without radiation exposure.
  • The study evaluates SAFE's ability to accurately detect and classify breast lesions, emphasizing its potential for early cancer screening.
  • By leveraging the differences in dielectric properties, SAFE offers a promising approach to improve breast cancer detection and patient outcomes.
