Job Summary:

We are looking for software developers, who are passionate about creating high-quality software. In this role, you will develop, maintain and document software packages, that are integrated in our medical screening technology S.A.F.E (microwave breast cancer detection and diagnosis system). Our codebase – in C# and Python – implement i) automation of microwave measurement and mechatronic sub-systems ii) management of patient database including raw measurements iii) integration with diagnostic and imaging modules implemented by our research team, iv) integration with hospital information systems and v) user interface designed for the radiologist. Qualifications:

• BSc in Software Engineering or a related Engineering field with a proven track of software development expertise. You are encouraged to share your demonstrative projects (via Github or similar repositories)
• Expertise in implementing Python UI application with database integration: PySide6, SQLAlchemy, PostgreSQL, SQLite
• C#.NET expertise to maintain existing WinForm applications.
• Solid understanding of design patterns and large scale software development principles.
• Expertise in documenting the software design and functionality.
• Self-motivated, well-organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and a history of working independently or as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiarity with Medical informatic standarts: PACS, DICOM.
• Familiarity with Python AI landscape: Scikit-learn, Keras, PyTorch, Tensorflow
• Familiarity with scientific computing with Python: Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib
• Familiarity with Python interoperability with Rust, Nim or C++.
